Subject: Order Deliveries and Lead Times
As you are aware, this is a busy time for our industry. We have seen no winter slow down in our business, and are already seeing our business increase ahead of our normal spring ramp up.
The short term result is we are seeing our lead times increase past our normal 2-3 weeks. With the business increase we are seeing and the nationwide labor shortage we are all struggling with, our current lead times are 3-4 weeks. Please be aware of this and please plan for it. Also, please be aware that, at this time, we are unable to change the scheduling on the confirmation dates; they will continue to show 2 weeks from the cut-off date. Please add 1 week to the date shown on your order confirmation.
We are working on a number of internal changes and improvements to get our lead times back to our normal 2-3 weeks. We ask your patience as we work through these changes and improvements which, we think, will enable us to get back into our standard cycle times as quickly and efficiently as possible.
