You should all be aware by now that we have been working to discontinue our 1770 series window; and replace it with our brand new 3000 series window. The new window is a more up-to-date design and offers a better sash design, better structural and thermal performance and frame options with or without J-Channel.
Our plan had been to start converting orders next week, in conjunction with the implementation of our new 2018 price book. We had felt that we could accomplish this transition in approximately 60 days.
Unfortunately, our plan is going to have to change. When our extrusion partner was told we were discontinuing the old product, they have chosen not to continue to support us. Therefore, we are going to have to start switching 1770 orders to the new 3000 series immediately. We understand this may cause some confusion, however we are committed to working with each of you to minimize any disruptions or issues this may cause with your business and/or your customers.
